CSSGB
A Six Sigma Green Belt operates in support of or under the supervision of a Six Sigma Black Belt, analyzes and solves quality problems and is involved in quality improvement projects. Green Belts are typically the process experts on their regular jobs. A Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) is someone with at least three years of work experience who wants to demonstrate his or her knowledge of Six Sigma tools and processes.
Course Description:
The CSSGB course is offered in 10-week sessions of 3-hours each and will cover the entire ASQ Six Sigma Green Belt Body of Knowledge (BOK). The course has two-fold objective of creating clear understanding of how to apply the concepts in the real-world as well as prepare for the ASQ certification exam in a fun, relevant, and effective manner. The course includes discussion of both manufacturing as well as non-manufacturing applications. The course format of lectures, interactive case studies and real-world examples, self-study, online discussion board, classroom review of 100′s of sample exam questions and the issuance of custom knowledge management tools that can be used at the certification exam, are all designed to make the candidate successful in both the certification exam and the real world. The course includes coverage of basic statistics using Minitab and/or MSExcel using the students’ own laptops that they are recommended to bring to the class. The course also includes basic finance to be able to quantify project benefits using financial and/or non-financial metrics.
Course Pre-requisites:
